School is right around the corner!  School shopping usually involves getting new shoes or repairing the shoes you already own.  The big question for a lot of parents is whether or not to purchase shoes that tie for their kids?  Jamestown Shoe and Luggage Service knows that having Velcro or tie shoes for kids is a personal choice.  However, if it is time for the kids to learn how to tie their shoes, then we offer this novel way of teaching them:

Being able to tie shoes is a life skill that every child should learn.  If a child has tie shoes and doesn’t know how to tie them, then this could result in a safety hazard.  The shoes are sure to come untied and the child could trip on the laces.  If the teacher or assistants have to stop and tie every child’s shoes then this could take a big bite out of learning time.  Follow the guidelines above to help your child learn how to tie his or her shoes.
