The holidays are here! That means parties, recitals, travel and more! Are your shoes, bags, and luggage ready to go? If not, Jamestown Shoe and Luggage Service can help! We have been serving Central Florida for over 30 years. We specialize in shoe repair but are also experienced at repairing bags, leather goods, and luggage. All of the repairs are completed on-site at our store.
Trying to save money this holiday season? Repair your shoes instead of buying new. Many people will have holiday parties to attend which means wearing dress shoes. Your dress shoes might need TLC after being neglected in the back of the closet. We can repair or replace soles, heels, stitching, tips, and more. In fact, we have over thirty years’ experience in repairing shoes, bags, and luggage for Central Florida residents. Summer Road Trip

Get Out There!
Are all of the flight cancellations making you leery of plane travel? Are you ready for a road trip instead? Traveling by car gives you more packing options since you have more room to pack items without worrying about going over baggage allowance limits.
Jamestown Shoe and Luggage Service offers these tips for your next road trip:
• Make a list of what you need
• Pack clothes that are comfortable to wear and that you can mix and match
• Consider using packing cubes in your suitcase/duffle bag in order to maximize space in your bag (the trunk can only hold so many suitcases)
• Have every traveler, including children, have their own small bag or tote next to them in the car. The bag could include books, toys, electronics, etc.
• Pack electronics to keep everyone busy and entertained. Don’t forget the chargers and cords!
• Pack snacks for everyone. Consider bringing a cooler. Have cups with lids for everyone to help prevent spills
• Have a garbage bag to put all of that trash into
• Pack a laundry bag or hamper to store dirty laundry
• If you are traveling over multiple days and stopping for the night at a hotel, consider packing an overnight bag/backpack with everyone’s essential items so that you don’t need to load and unload the luggage every time you stop at a hotel
• Make sure you pack different types of shoes depending on where you are traveling. For example, hiking boots if you are heading out hiking, dress shoes if you are attending an event such as a wedding, or sneakers/sandals for sightseeing
