Have a very merry socially distanced holiday this year!  Jamestown Shoe and Luggage Service knows that the holidays this year are much different from past holidays.  Here are a few ideas of what to do with the family for the holiday break ahead:

•    Take a walk around your neighborhood at night and check out all of the holiday decorations.
•    Organize a candy cane hunt for your family.  Send them in the backyard or around the neighborhood on a quest to find the candy canes.
•    Have a Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa scavenger hunt.  Set up clues related to the holiday and let the family participate.  You could even have close by friends participate (though socially distanced of course!).
•    Go camping in the back yard.
•    Go on a staycation to some place local that you’ve never been to before.
•    Bike or hike around the town.
•    Make smores around a fire pit.
•    Go to a drive in and see a holiday movie.
•    Plan a vacation for 2021.
•    Learn how to dance (swing, ballroom, country) virtually and then find a place where you can try out your skills.
•    Check out local events to see what is still safely being offered.

Once the pandemic is over, everyone will want to travel!  Make sure that your luggage is ready to go when you are.  We are an approved luggage repair shop for brands such as Travel pro, Atlantic, Delsey, Victorinox (Swiss Army Luggage), Briggs and Riley, Ricardo, and Skyway.  We also service other manufacturers and luggage that is out of warranty.  We can repair or replace luggage retractable handles, luggage carry handles, luggage feet, luggage zipper sliders, luggage zippers, luggage wheels, and more.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8am until 6pm and on Saturday from 8am until 2pm.  We are closed on Sunday.  You can bring your repairs to our location at 931 North State Rd. 434, Suite 1095, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 or you can utilize our mail in repairs service.  For mail in repairs, simply visit online at http://www.floridashoeandluggagerepair.com/Mail-In-Your-Repairs.html.  Print out the form, fill it out, enclose the form along with your repairs and send it to our address.  Once we receive your items, we will call you to confirm receipt and to get the payment.  We will then repair your items and mail them back to you.
