It’s a new year!  Jamestown Shoe and Luggage and Luggage Service offers these tips to help maintaining your shoes:

•    Shop for shoes in the afternoon or evening.  Shopping first thing in the morning could lead to shoes that are too tight.  If you have a pair of shoes that you love but that are too tight, then bring them into our location at 931 North State Road 434, Suite 1095, in Altamont Springs to have them stretched out. 
•    Are your shoes scuffed?  We can help.  Bring them in and let us clean them up for you.
•    Did you get a new pair of heels for the holidays?  Have a pair you love?  Bring them in to get a cap put on the heel.  A cap will help prevent normal wear and tear and make your heels last longer.
•    We can also put caps on other types of shoes as well as replacing the soles of your shoes.  You can also add rubber soles to your shoes in order to help them last longer and to prevent slips and falls.

These tips can help make your shoes more comfortable and last longer.  We also can repair or replace tips and stitching on all types of shoes.  We offer orthopedic shoe modifications too.

Our location is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 6pm.  On Saturday, we are open 8am until 2pm.  We are closed on Sunday.  Can’t make it to our Altamonte Springs location?  We also offer a mail in repairs option.  Simply visit online at http://www.floridashoeandluggagerepair.com/Mail-In-Your-Repairs.html.  Print the form, fill out the information, and mail the form along with your items to our address at 931 North State Road 434, Suite 1095, in Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.  Once we receive your items, we will give you a call to let you know the price and collect your payment.  We will then repair your items and then mail them back to you.
