Need Storage Ideas For Your Shoes?

Do you love shoes?  Do you have so many shoes that you are tripping over them?  Jamestown Shoe and Luggage Service offers these ideas on storing your shoes so that you have room in your home.  Check out these tips:

•    Use a cubby organizer.  This method of storage is best for storing dress shoes, sandals, and sneakers.  If your collection is heavy on boots and heels then you need a different option since the cubby is too short to store them properly.
•    Save space by stacking your shoes on top of each other.  This method is best for sneakers and flats.  Do not stack dirty shoes on top of each other.  This method is best for floor space.
•    Use a shoe rack.  This method works for all types of shoes.  This method is best for smaller closets.
•    Try a boot hanger.  This method is best for thin boot styles, western boots, or knee-high boots.
•    Use a shoe pyramid.  This method is good for all types of shoes; however, it takes up more space.  Using a pyramid allows you to store your shoes creatively.
•    Use mesh bins to store your sneakers and sandals.
•    Use wooden crates in an entry way to store your shoes.  Stack them in a creative pattern and top them with a decorative item such as a plant.
•    Try a bookcase to store your shoes.
•    Store shoes in clear shoe boxes with lids.
•    Use an over-the door organizer to stash your shoes.
